PM Dhanalakshmi Scheme 2025

The Pradhan Mantri of India has launched the scheme named as the Dhanalakshmi Scheme which is a conditional cash transfer scheme for the girl child and it provides insurance coverage. The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched the scheme on March 3, 2008 and it has been launched to eliminate the child marriage. The parents are provided with insurance coverage of the medical expenses and it encourages the education for a girl child. The main motive is to reduce the minor girl childโ€™s marriage and the scheme eliminates gender discrimination by providing the financial incentives to the families and it helps to retain the girl child.

If the girl child is born after 2008, they shall be under the Pradhan Mantri Dhanalakshmi Scheme Eligibility 2025. The families are being provided with financial incentives and it prevents underage marriage as with more finances they focus more on their education. Both the education and the medical expenses are covered under this scheme and it has been found that this scheme is currently not under implementation in India and the main purpose of this scheme was to provide education at least till 8th grade.   • The Indian Government launched the scheme in 2008 and the scheme is Dhanalakshmi Scheme which is a benefit for the girl child where they are given insurance coverage.
